George III Red Lacquered Tall Case Clock, Circa 1760
George II red lacquered and parcel gilded tall case clock signed John Northy, London on the arched plaque, eight-day three train quarter chiming movement, four bells or eight bells lever, strike/silent dial, the arched pagoda top fitted with three flaming finials, the glazed door flanked by columnar supports, above the arched panel waist door, raised on stepped plinth base. Chinoiserie scenes are applied to the trunk door and the plinth base with gold leaf designs to the sides and top.
