Antique English Inlaid Cribbage Box, Circa 1860

Boldly figured rosewood cribbage box inlaid with bone, ebony and satinwood stringing, bone escutcheon with original key, hinged lid opens to reveal five mahogany compartments, four for playing cards, Waddington’s Lexicon Card Game and four pegs.  The inside top lined with blue velvet.
