Antique Pair of Garden Terracotta Column Bases
Pair of terracotta columns on octagonal bases. The outside bottom marked with impressed stamp: “Pulham’s Terra Cotta Broxbourne” inside and oval.
James Pulham and Son revolutionized garden design in the Victorian and Edwardian era. They were landscape architects who specialized in the construction of picturesque rock gardens, grottoes, ferneries and follies and were based in Broxbourne, England. They produced a wide range of very high-quality fountains and garden ornaments.
