Brass Trivet Coffee Table on Faux Tortoiseshell Base

Antique rectangular low coffee or end table consisting of a cast brass trivet on a painted faux tortoiseshell base.  The top of the trivet is decorated with pierced ovals, circles and C-scroll designs, the legs are of balusters shapes.
