Chinese Chippendale, Gothic Revival Cluster Column Leg Stool

Chinese Chippendale or Gothic Revival mahogany stool with cluster column legs, C-shaped spandrels and scale carvings on the blocks connecting the cluster legs and feet. The apron still has remnants of the original gilding, the slip seat upholstered in tapestry-like covering.
