Chinese Clobbered Vase and Lid, Circa 1800

Chinese clobbered squat jar and cover, decorated with exotic houses, mountains, flowers, butterfly and a river in vibrant colors and gilding on a green background.  It retains it original cover.  Tiny holes in the cover and on the shoulder of the jar would have been twine handles.
