Chinese Export Canton Porcelain Cider Jug

Very unusual large Chinese Export Canton porcelain cider jug in the famille rose palette decorated with exotic birds, butterflies, chrysanthemums, items for celebration, elegant intertwined strapped handles ending in gilded foliate  terminals.  The handles look delicate but in fact are very strong and durable. On the inside wall of the spout are numerous holes that function as a strainer to prevent large pieces from exiting.
