Chinese 18th Century Clobbered Jar

Chinese Qianlong period blue and white ginger jar that has been enameled or “clobbered” in the 18th century in Holland to give it more decorative appeal. The background is gilded with added colors of iron reds, yellow and green. Exotic fighting dragons decorate the backside.
