English Brass and Iron Trivet or Footman

Brass and iron serpentine-shaped trivet or footman with pierced top and frieze, the top platform decorated with incised figures of prancing unicorn and crowned lion flanked on either side by a harp and mandolin, centered with a wheel-shaped shield, raised on twisted supports, S-scroll brass legs joined by an iron spooked shelf.  Makes a great low side table.
