Fine George III Mahogany Center Table

A very fine George III period mahogany carved center table with a serpentine shaped top on all four sides, carved openwork corners, raised on a cluster of triple column legs ending in stepped block feet, joined by a curved carved X-shaped stretcher. Attributed to Gillows, inspired by Chippendale’s silver table. This is truly an elegant table.
