French Empire Style Chandelier

French Empire style patinated and gilt metal eight-arm chandelier of oil lamp form with flambeau center.  The corona is of patinated bronze with ormolu anthemia decorated shapes above a laurel border.  The arms are in the shape of foliage garnished cornucopia. The chandelier is supported by four decorative chains of alternating patinated metal and ormolu. At the bottom of the dish is a large circle of ormolu leaves and palmettes from which an artichoke pendent falls.
