French Louis XVI Giltwood Barometer

Eighteenth century French giltwood oval barometer by Torre, the crest a carved basket of flowers, the sides with cascading laurel leaves crossing at bottom and forming tassels. The grey painted and gilded dial with S-shaped hand is signed at bottom, Torre. The barometer retains the glass tube but is lacking the mercury.
