French Louis XVI Giltwood Mirror

French Louis XVI period giltwood mirror with a hand carved crest of a carved vase centered by scrolling acanthus leaves and a garland of laurel falling over the top edge, atop a rectangular frame with an inner border of red lacquer. The mirror retains its original mirror plate which has developed an oxidized patina over time, adding a layer of authenticity and historic appeal.
