French Napoleon III Armchair

This is a charming 19th Century French bergère armchair with a “chapeau de gendarme” shaped back, scrolled arms, raised on ebonized turned front legs and splay back legs on casters. It has been stripped down to the original muslin and horsehair padding and is ready to be re-upholstered.
