French Antique Carved Walnut Open Arm Bergere, Circa 1800

It has a shaped back crest, upholstered arm pad extending to carved acanthus leaf S-scrolled arm supports, hipped cabriole legs front and back with carved shell motif on knees ending in hoofed feet.  Seat apron also having shell and  foliate design.  Upholstered in white cotton twill fabric.
