George III Jappaned Breakfront Cabinet

Early Geroge III small japanned breakfront cabinet in two parts.  The top section with peaked pediment and cornice is fitted with nine shelves that are painted a dark maroon, the lower section is fitted with nine drawers that are decorated profusely with gilded chinoiserie designs of pagodas, figures, birds and bridges, all on a black background, raised on a molded plinth base. Charming size.
