Fine Georgian Oval Inlaid Tea Caddy, Circa 1800
George III oval tea caddy inlaid with specimen woods, the hinged top is mahogany cross banded with rosewood, the body is decorated with vertical panels of satinwood, rosewood, pear wood and lines of inlay in arrow and checkerboard patterns with ebony stringing. The top opens to reveal inlay and the original foil lining.
