An Italian Sicilian Rococo Kingwood Commodini, Circa 1770

Very elegant Sicilian Rococo kingwood parquetry small commode or commodini of bombe outline with two drawers with gilt brass replaced handles and escutcheons, parcel gilding between the drawers, shaped apron, raised on graceful hipped cabriole legs.  French retailers label on top inside drawer:  Escourt Antiquaire, Paris Place, P de C., Cap D’ail A. M.
