Large Oval Giltwood Mirror

Large oval giltwood mirror, the frame with pierced interlacing ribbons. The gilding, slightly mellowed with age, settles into the recesses of the carving, accentuating the depth and texture of the design and lends the mirror an air that is both elegant and inviting. The mirror plate has been replaced. Since the mirror is oval, it can be hung either vertically or horizontally.
