Pair of Vintage Egyptian Motif Bookends

Pair of vintage bookends in the form of an Egyptian pharaoh with the goddess Hathor at his side.  She is the sky goddess who is sometimes represented as a woman with cow’s horns with a solar disc between them. She symbolizes rebirth. Another goddess is standing next to a wall with hieroglyphic symbols above her head.  All decorated with gilding.  The backs also decorated with hieroglyphics.
