Rare French Chinoiserie Lacquered Strong Box

A charming chinoiserie lacquered steel strong box boldly decorated with figures in palace scenes with gilded pagodas, on a black background.  It has a shaped Georgian style swan neck silver handle atop the box. The box retains its original blue decorated interior and its original key. The lock is fully functioning.
