Regency Red Morocco Leather Sewing Box

Regency red Morocco leather sewing box with gilt brass mounts, lion’s head mask and ring handles raised on gilt paw feet. The hinged lid opens to reveal a silk screened black and white picture with gilt tooled leather border and Greek key pattern, original compartments containing embroidery and sewing tools, pin cushions, thread spools and tape measure. The blue beaded box lifts out to reveal storage below. The red center piece lifts out to reveal the orange paper label which reads: J Anthony & Son, Jewellery, Military and Fancy Store, 94 High St. Truly amazing!
