Regency Rosewood Brass Inlaid Dressing Case, Circa 1820
The top and front of the box are brass inlaid with star patterns, centered by a shield shape for initials, inside are four compartments with round silver knobs for sundries, two bottles with silver plate caps, two cut-glass containers, four tools with mother of pearl handles, pin cushion, behind the velvet lining is a mirror, the top lifts with the silver handles to reveal a compartment below that is lined with leather. The label reads: Stocken, Wholesale Stationer, Printer, 33 Regent St.
