Reverse Glass Indian Painting

Indian reverse glass portrait painting of a Maharajah in full dress, wielding his sword while riding his stallion. He is set within an oval that is surrounded by silver dots.  The gilded frame is original. These charming and naive paintings were done by itinerant painters who came across the border from China.
