Sterling and Agate Handled Fish Knife

Sterling silver fish knife with an agate handle by George White. The knife and handle end engraved with a floral pattern; the handle end in the shape of a shield centered by an acanthus leaf. The agate is gradations of orange and amber. The knife is enclosed in a maroon colored leather oval presentation box. Birmingham 1853.
