Victorian Glass Celery Vase

Victorian elegant molded glass celery vase with scalloped and flared top edge, the baluster shape decorated with protruding ribs supported by a short ringed pedestal on a round base. Amazingly, celery used to be a rare, highly regarded and expensive vegetable and would be displayed in cold water in tall elegant vases. Today they make wonderful vases for flowers.
